Technical Highlights:
- Dedicated 2 Channel Stereo Amplifier
The exquisitely styled and finished dedicated high performance stereo amplifier, has full analog and digital inputs which support 24bit/96kHz sampling rates, as well as utilizing a Burr-Brown PCM processor chip. Input configurations are available for RCA analog, RCA Coaxial, and Optical cable. Front panel controls include separate bass, treble, and volume. Touch sensitive buttons control input selection and a tone control "defeat" circuit. Rear connections include optical, coaxial, and RCA inputs. Speaker outputs are 4 way binding posts, and all connectors are gold plated for maximum reliability.
- Remote Control
The super stylish and functional infrared remote control for the S2000, not only activates the amplifier functions though the use of a unique group of "Quad Pad" buttons, but also operates a servomotor for the analog volume control for maximum convenience.
- Woofer and Tweeter
5.5" super long throw, HSCC (High Strength Cotton Composite) flared cone. Aluminum voicecoil. Magnetically shielded symmetrical motor assembly.
Tweeter: 1" treated soft silk dome, ferrofluid cooled, magnetically shielded, with aluminum heatsink magnet assembly.
- Crossover
Professionally developed 2 way multi-element crossover. Crossover frequency: 3Khz, 3rd order design expertly voiced by Phil Jones. Metallized Polyester capacitors and air core inductors are employed in critical circuit paths, ensuring low loss and improved signal transfer.
- Enclosure Construction
High quality all MDF wood construction enclosures are finished in Polyurethane hi-gloss paint for a Piano like quality finish. Bass reflex loading design for high efficiency and detailed bass response. Rear connectors utilize hi-grade 4 way gold plated binding posts for long term reliable connections and maximum versatility
